How to Start Your Ted Lasso Career
- Open Career Mode and pick Manager Career.
- Choose Ted Lasso from the manager list, found on the third row.
- Set Gender to Women’s Teams and Country to Rest of World.
- Select AFC Richmond and advance to begin.
Here’s a bonus: picking Ted doesn’t lock you into Richmond. You can swap clubs and manage anywhere in the game, so you could take his positive energy to a rival team.
Setup and Strategy Tips
Keep expectations realistic. At 3.5 stars, Richmond isn’t a superclub, so aim for steady growth rather than instant glory.
Build around your attack. Jay’s reported 80 rating gives you a strong finisher up front, so choose a formation that gets her the ball.
Invest in youth. Boots and El Sherif can develop into stars, so give them regular minutes and protect their morale.
Fix the depth. With backup ratings in the high 60s, early transfers and scouting will pay off.
Ultimate Team Extras
Ultimate Team players get Ted Lasso content too, including a manager item, AFC Richmond stadium cosmetics and a badge.
