🐐 Ronaldo vs Messi: What Makes Each Card Special
Both legends are getting 88-rated Honourable Mention cards via this leak — likely as part of a Player Pick SBC during the TOTY promo.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo’s Honourable Mention card boasts elite pace (92), top-tier shooting (92) and impressive dribbling and finishing — perfect for strikers who dominate the box. His PlayStyles+ like Power Shot and Gamechanger make him a goal threat from nearly anywhere.
Lionel Messi
Messi’s variant shines in playmaking, dribbling, and vision, with standout short passing and curve that suits creative build-up play. His Tiki Taka and Finesse Shot PlayStyles+ give him an edge in creating chances and precise ball control.
These cards aren’t just collectibles — they address two distinct squad needs: direct finishing power (Ronaldo) and technical creativity (Messi). Players may choose based on formation fit and playstyle.
⚡ What This SBC Means for Ultimate Team
This leak comes at a time when pack supply dynamics are fluctuating — fodder for high-rated SBCs is becoming precious due to limited pack weight during the TOTY promo.
Completing this SBC might demand a heavy investment of high-rating cards, so planning ahead is key. If the price hits the rumored 2M+ coins range, many players may compare evolution paths vs SBC execution — a topic we explore deeply at Technosports.co.in’s EA FC26 guides.

❓FAQs
Q1: When is the Ronaldo vs Messi Honourable Mention SBC expected?
This SBC leak is tied to the TOTY promo window, usually early in the year when Team of the Year items are released. Packs and SBCs are rolled out gradually by EA during this period.
Q2: Will this card be worth the cost in Ultimate Team?
While 88 OVR is excellent, uprooting 2M+ coins in SBC fodder is significant — choose based on your squad needs (finisher vs creator) and your current Ultimate Team project goals. Community speculation hints at high coin investment, so consider alternatives or wait for market drops.
