What Makes This Update Special?
The Roosevelt duo joins nearly 200 vehicles equipped with Missile Lock-On Jammers—technology preventing homing missiles from locking onto your vehicle. This Imani Tech upgrade has been Rockstar’s primary solution to Oppressor MK II griefing, gradually expanding throughout 2025-2026.
For classic car enthusiasts, this marks a significant shift. Previously, vintage vehicles meant vulnerability. Now, Roosevelt classics survive Los Santos chaos while maintaining their 1920s mob boss aesthetic—style without sacrificing survival.
Installation Requirements & Costs
Installing the jammer costs $400,000 per vehicle through an Agency Vehicle Workshop or GTA+ Vinewood Club Garage. The upgrade prevents missile locks without compromising customization options—both Roosevelt variants retain extensive modification capabilities and vintage character.

Valentine’s Day Special Features
Valentine’s-themed versions appear at Luxury Autos showroom February 12-18. Rockstar notes these jammers help avoid “a potential Valentine’s Day Massacre”—referencing the infamous 1929 Chicago mob hit.
The event includes free Gusenberg Sweepers (Tommy guns) through Gun Van, complimentary champagne at nightclubs, 50% off Valentine’s clothing, and free Valentine’s Onesies for all players.
The Broader Jammer Expansion
The Roosevelt update continues Rockstar’s commitment to gameplay balance. Since introducing Imani Tech in 2022, the company expanded jammer compatibility across three waves: 50 vehicles during Agents of Sabotage (June 2025), 50 with Money Fronts (August 2025), and 50 more in A Safehouse in the Hills (December 2025). This rollout keeps legacy vehicles competitive while preserving advantages of newer releases.
FAQs
Q: Do missile jammers work against all weapon types in GTA Online?
A: No. Jammers only prevent missile lock-on, forcing attackers to use free-aim weapons. Explosives, bullets, and other non-locking weapons remain fully effective against jammer-equipped vehicles.
Q: Can I transfer the jammer between vehicles or is it permanent?
A: Jammers are vehicle-specific permanent upgrades. Each vehicle requires its own $400,000 installation through the Agency Vehicle Workshop or Vinewood Club Garage, and cannot be removed or transferred.
