The Sultan outfit is a unique dark gray and yellow tracksuit with loafers, and it’s one of the sharpest rewards tied to GTA Online’s Salvage Yard career. This exclusive dark gray tracksuit with bold yellow stripes draws inspiration from Yusuf Amir, the extravagant character from GTA IV known as “The Sultan.” It won’t drop from a Lucky Wheel — you have to earn it. Step 1 — Buy a Salvage Yard

You need to purchase a Salvage Yard, a new business that arrived with GTA Online The Chop Shop update. There are five Salvage Yards on the map, costing anywhere between $1,620,000 and $2,690,000. Head to the Maze Bank Foreclosures website on your in-game phone, pick your location, and enter the property to meet Yusuf Amir and his cousin Jamal. Strawberry is recommended for central access, La Puerta for port proximity.

Step 2 — Complete the 5 Salvage Yard Robberies (Tier 3)

The Salvage Yard has four tiers of Career Progress, each having three to four challenges to complete. The Sultan Outfit unlocks after doing the tier three Career Progress challenge list. Since these tiers are not linked to one another, you can focus on any one of them. Since the first two tiers have simple challenges, you will automatically complete them while working on the third tier challenges.

Tier 3 centers on completing all five Salvage Yard Robberies:

  • The Collector Robbery — Steal a rare collector’s vehicle from a guarded private compound
  • The Street Race Robbery — Win a street race, then intercept the prize car before the winner leaves
  • The Repo Robbery — Repossess a high-value car from a shady loan defaulter across the city
  • The Duggan Robbery — Steal a show car from an Arena War event by getting into the spectator box of the arena
  • The Gangbanger Robbery — Free popular gang members from prison and get the location of the gang leader’s car

Use the mission-provided vehicle, enable Auto-Drive if available, and clear threats before entering. All robberies are doable solo, but use snacks/armor and a fast personal vehicle for escapes.

Step 3 — Claim from Career Progress

Once all these tasks are done, you will unlock The Sultan outfit. It will be claimable from the Career Progress page that can be accessed from the pause menu. Equip it via Interaction Menu → Style → Outfits or at any wardrobe or clothes store.

This is a classic example of Grand Theft Auto Online‘s career-based reward system — where the best cosmetics go to players who actually put in the work.

Is the Salvage Yard Worth Buying Just for This?

Absolutely. Each perfect sale nets $300K–$400K, plus scrap from tows. The Salvage Yard is one of GTA Online’s most profitable passive businesses — the Sultan outfit is essentially a free bonus on top of a solid money-maker. Tier 4 also unlocks a Buzzard Attack Chopper — worth pushing for once you’ve got your tracksuit.
