Why This Card Is a No-Brainer
EA Sports has released the Waldemar Anton Fantasy FC SBC in Ultimate Team, with the Borussia Dortmund centre-back receiving an 89-rated item as part of the ongoing Fantasy FC promo.
His base card sits at just 82 overall — making this a +7 boost that transforms him into one of the most dominant CB options in any Bundesliga side. Here’s the kicker: he has the potential to be upgraded even further based on Borussia Dortmund’s results in the Bundesliga, where they are currently second in the league table. Every BVB win could mean more stats. That’s incredible value.

Cheapest Solution Tips
The Anton SBC has two squads to complete — no TOTW cards needed, which is what makes this such a budget-friendly option. Here’s how to attack it cheaply:
Squad 1 — Lower Rating (~84 OVR): Use fodder Bundesliga players you already own. Pair German nationality cards to boost chemistry without expensive links. Fill remaining slots with cheap 84-rated gold players from the market.
Squad 2 — Higher Rating (~86 OVR): Apply the “top-heavy” method — use 1–2 high-rated cards (87+) and fill the remaining 9 slots with cheaper 85-rated items to hit the threshold efficiently.
💡 Pro Tip: Use untradeable players from your club first before hitting the transfer market. Check the Squad Building Challenge system’s rating combinations to optimise every slot.
