What Is Wonder Man — And Is It Worth Watching?
The acclaimed Disney+ series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as aspiring young actor Simon Williams, who fights to make his mark in Hollywood while hiding a secret that could end his career before it begins — crossing paths with veteran MCU star Trevor Slattery, played by Ben Kingsley.
It’s not your typical MCU slugfest — it’s a witty, character-driven story set behind Hollywood’s curtain. The show currently holds a Certified Fresh rating of 91% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 108 reviews SuperHeroHype, making it one of Marvel’s best-reviewed Disney+ shows ever.
How to Watch It Inside Marvel Rivals
It’s dead simple. Just follow these steps:
- Launch Marvel Rivals and head to the Times Square Social Hub
- Wait for the scheduled screening time (7 PM UTC or 3 AM UTC daily)
- Find a spot at the big screen and watch Episodes 1 & 2 back-to-back — for free
Only the first two episodes are being screened in-game — NetEase is likely hoping the initial showing is convincing enough that players choose to watch the rest on Disney+. Smart move, honestly.
