FAQs
Will my GTA Online progress transfer to GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn’t confirmed any transfer system. GTA 6 will likely feature completely separate online mode with fresh progression, similar to how GTA 5 didn’t connect to GTA IV.
Can I play GTA 5 single-player without PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live?
Yes, the story mode requires no subscription. You only need PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold for GTA Online multiplayer features, making single-player accessible to all console owners.
