Where to Find the Sanctum of Temperance
The Sanctum of Temperance is located in Pororin Forest, just southeast of Hernand City. To find the exact spot, travel past the Goldleaf Tradepost and head south — along the cliffside you will easily spot a cave/crevice marking the entrance.
One important note: players will unlock the Sanctum of Temperance after unlocking the Witch in Chapter 5. Unlocking the Witch will unlock all Sanctums throughout the world of Crimson Desert. Don’t bother attempting this before then — the game literally won’t let you proceed.
Step-by-Step Puzzle Solution
Step 1 — Clear the enemies. When you first arrive at the Sanctum of Temperance in an attempt to cleanse it, you will encounter a horde of enemies that you must defeat.
Step 2 — Find the Fusion Reactor Core. The Fusion Reactor Core can be found at the bottom of the stairway, near the Sanctum’s entrance. Grab the Fusion Reactor Core and seal it inside the KuKu Pot.
Step 3 — Burn the vines. Once you remove the Fusion Reactor Core, you’ll find a small passageway covered in vines behind it — burn these vines using the Blinding Flash ability. There’s a chest inside with the Odeck’s Protector Plate Boots.
Step 4 — Climb to the main machine. Head up to the main area where you’ll find the large machine. The wall next to the machine is covered in vines — burn these using Blinding Flash and climb to the top.
