SBC Requirements & Cheapest Solutions
Completing the Charles De Ketelaere Winter Wildcards SBC requires submitting three separate squads. The total investment hovers around 70,000-73,000 coins depending on platform pricing fluctuations. Here’s what each segment demands:
Squad 1: Serie A Foundation
Minimum requirements include an 84-rated squad featuring at least one Serie A player with 75 chemistry. Focus on affordable Italian league fodder like high-rated goalkeepers and centerbacks to maintain chemistry while minimizing costs. Players from Napoli, Inter Milan, and Juventus typically offer the best value.
Squad 2: Belgian Connection
This segment demands an 85-rated team with at least one Belgian player and 70 chemistry. Since Belgium lacks deep player pools at higher ratings, consider using informs or special cards from other nations to reach the rating requirement while including one affordable Belgian defender like Theate or Alderweireld.
Squad 3: Premium Squad
The final challenge requires an 86-rated squad with one Team of the Week player plus 65 chemistry. Raid your club for untradeable high-rated cards first—this saves significant coins. If purchasing, target 86-87 rated fodder during content drops when supply increases and prices dip. Check out more Ultimate Team guides on TechnoSports.
Is De Ketelaere Worth 70K Coins?
Absolutely, especially for Serie A theme teams. His 89 dribbling paired with 88 passing creates a devastating combination for possession-based gameplay. The 6’4″ frame provides aerial dominance in both offensive headers and winning goal kicks—a massive advantage in the current meta favoring tall, technical players.
His versatility across CAM, ST, and CM positions means you’re not locked into rigid formations. Players running 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 variations will find him immediately impactful. With the Winter Wildcards promo ending soon, this SBC represents excellent value compared to purchasing similar-rated tradeable alternatives on the transfer market.
Maximizing De Ketelaere’s Potential
Apply a Hunter chemistry style to boost his pace to 90+ and maximize shooting stats, transforming him into an elite striker option. For CAM positioning, Engine chemistry enhances agility and balance while maintaining his already exceptional passing. According to EA Sports official statistics, pairing him with fast wingers like Leao or Lookman creates devastating counter-attacking opportunities.
In-game, utilize his Incisive Pass+ by triggering through ball runs with L1+Triangle passes. His Shadow Striker++ role excels in 4-4-2 formations where he can drift between lines and exploit spaces behind opposition midfields. Stay updated with esports news on TechnoSports.
