Rockstar Games targets Fall 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC port is projected for 2027 and will require an 8-core CPU, 16GB-32GB RAM, and an RTX 3070 / RTX 4070 class GPU for ray-traced Vice City.
Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive have confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is slated for Fall 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
Following Rockstar’s established multi-tier release cadence (proven with GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2), the PC version will not launch day-and-date with consoles. The dedicated PC port is projected for 2027 to allow Rockstar’s engineering teams to build dedicated PC graphical pipelines, advanced ray-traced reflections and global illumination, ultrawide screen scaling, and robust anti-cheat systems.
