GTA 6 Trailer 3 May 26 Release Date Rumor: Is the “Best Buy Debunker” Right Again?

Hey gamers! The hunt for any scrap of GTA 6 news has reached a fever pitch. After the “Best Buy pre-order” leak was recently debunked, the very same individual who called out that fake rumor is now making a bold claim: GTA 6 Trailer 3 is allegedly dropping on May 26, 2026. Could we finally be headed back to Leonida this week, or is this just another internet phantom? Let’s dive into the details.

GTA 6 Source of the Hype

The rumor originated from a social media user known as RockStation. While most “leaks” are ignored, this one gained traction because the account was among the first to correctly identify the May 12th pre-order rumor as false. Now, they claim that internal sources point to a May 26th reveal. Since May 26th falls on a Tuesday—Rockstar’s favorite day for big announcements—the community is on high alert.

Rumor vs. Reality: What We Know

Why This Could (Or Couldn’t) Happen

Rockstar Games is famously unpredictable. While a May trailer would align perfectly with the hype leading into a Fall release, the studio rarely follows “leaked” schedules. However, with the GTA 6 release date officially locked for November 19, 2026, the window for a third trailer is definitely opening.
