Meet Nangong Yu: The Leader With a Headache
Nangong Yu, also known as Ruudoku, serves as the de facto leader tasked with “herding cats”—managing her two chaotic bandmates while maintaining her idol persona. HoYoverse describes her as effortlessly smug one moment, crying from hot sauce the next, creating the perfect gap moe character that fans adore. Her official reveal quote teases her playful-yet-commanding personality:
“Next, it’s punishment time, reserved only for well-behaved kids~ Oh my, looks like someone’s already getting excited? It’s just a meet-and-greet, why so nervous? Worried you’ll fall for me?”

Team Synergy With Angels of Delusion
Nangong Yu’s Ether Stun kit makes her the perfect glue for the full Angels of Delusion team composition. Sunna (Physical Support) buffs Attack and Stun DMG through her Ether Veil field, while Aria (Ice Anomaly main vocalist) delivers massive burst damage. Together, the trio creates a self-sufficient squad that doesn’t need external supports—freeing up your roster for other content.
Early speculation suggests Nangong Yu’s Stun mechanics will amplify Sunna’s buffs during the [Fever] state, creating explosive damage windows for Aria’s Anomaly triggers. If true, this makes Angels of Delusion the first faction to field a complete S-rank team without relying on mixed-faction compositions.
Version 2.7 Banner Companions
Alongside Nangong Yu in Phase 1, expect Cissia—a new Public Security Bureau agent with a unique police uniform design—to potentially debut in Phase 2. Leaks also mention Seth Lowell’s brother, an NPC teased since Version 1.1, as a possible surprise addition. Rerun banners will likely feature Harumasa and Yixuan following chronological order.
Why Pull Nangong Yu?
If you’ve invested in Sunna and Aria, Nangong Yu is a must-pull to unlock the Angels’ full potential. Her first-in-class Ether Stun mechanics have no current alternative, making her future-proof for upcoming content. Casual players can safely skip unless building the idol squad long-term, but hardcore collectors won’t want to miss completing this thematic trio.
The official Version 2.7 Special Program (expected mid-March) will showcase her full kit, animations, and signature W-Engine. For build guides and team compositions once she drops, check out TechnoSports gaming section.
