All New Locations in the Fortnite x Overwatch Update

Four iconic Overwatch-inspired landmarks have been added to the Battle Royale island: Busan Sanctuary, Hanamura Courtyard, King’s Row Tower, and bases inspired by Watchpoint: Gibraltar. MP1st

Fortnite

1. Hanamura Courtyard

This location mirrors Hanamura, a classic Overwatch map featuring a traditional Japanese temple surrounded by cherry blossom trees. It holds deep significance in Overwatch lore as the home of the Shimada clan, directly tied to Genji. EGW.News

2. Busan Sanctuary

Inspired by the Korean map from Overwatch, Busan Sanctuary brings a vibrant, modern urban feel to the island — a visually distinct drop spot unlike anything currently on the Fortnite map.

3. King’s Row Tower

At King’s Row Tower, a Payload spawns each match after it unlocks in the Showdown, rewarding Overwatch loot to everyone who escorts it home. This makes it one of the most strategically important new POIs in Act III. MP1st

4. Watchpoint (near Sandy Strip)

Watchpoint replaces the gas station outside Sandy Strip and possibly other gas stations around the map — these are landmark-scale additions rather than entirely new named POIs. Think of Sandy Strip as getting a full Overwatch-themed skin. Gamer.org

New Weapons Dropping at These Locations

New hero weapons like Mercy’s Caduceus Staff and Tracer’s Pulse Pistols have been added to the loot pool. In an interesting twist, Tracer’s Pulse Pistols let you play in first-person when using them. Game Informer

These weapons are best found near the new Overwatch landmarks, so hot-dropping pays off here.

Why This Collab Is a Big Deal

This is the first time any Overwatch character has ever appeared in Fortnite — and Epic went all-in. Beyond skins and map locations, you can also pick up the Overwatch Porsche Cayenne EV bundle with 4 custom Decals and a custom Wheels set. TalkEsportFortnite
