EA FC26 Expected Stats & Rating Breakdown
Based on leak patterns and Upamecano’s existing World Tour 87-rated card, the Flashback version should land around 89-90 overall rating with significantly boosted defensive stats:
| Attribute | Expected Rating | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Pace | 85-87 | Essential for catching rapid attackers |
| Defending | 88-90 | Strong tackles and interceptions |
| Physical | 90-92 | Dominates aerial duels at 6’1″ |
| Dribbling | 75-78 | Improved ball control for build-up play |
| Passing | 76-79 | Reliable distribution from defense |
His existing PlayStyles—Jockey, Bruiser, Pinged Pass, and Long Ball Pass—will likely receive upgrades to their “+” versions, making him meta-defining for defensive setups.

Why This Flashback Card Could Be Game-Changing
Upamecano’s base 85-rated card already offers exceptional value at just 2,000 coins on all platforms. A Flashback upgrade to 89-90 rating would transform him into an elite-tier defender capable of:
- Catching 99-pace strikers with upgraded acceleration
- Winning physical battles against the strongest forwards
- Starting attacks with Pinged Pass+ and Long Ball Pass+ PlayStyles
His 3-star weak foot and 3-star skill moves remain limitations, but for pure defensive quality, few SBCs will match this value proposition.
Should You Complete This SBC?
Complete if: You run Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, or French squads. Upamecano’s links are excellent, and his physical presence will dominate through TOTS.
Skip if: You already own elite untradeable center backs like Ferdinand from Icon Swaps or have limited coins for upcoming promos.
The SBC is rumored to expire after 7-10 days, giving players time to assess market prices and gather fodder. Stay updated with the latest esports news and FIFA Ultimate Team strategies for official confirmation.
