Why This SBC Is Worth Your Coins
Jana Fernandez arrives with impressive stats: 83 pace, 90 defending, and 88 physicality form the foundation of a reliable defender. Her 80 passing and 78 dribbling make her comfortable on the ball—perfect for modern build-up play tactics.
The card features exceptional PlayStyles including Jockey+, Intercept, Anticipate, and Relentless. For roles, she excels as Fullback++, Attacking Wingback++, and Ball-Playing Defender++. Whether you’re running a Barclays Women’s Super League squad or need a versatile defender, she fits seamlessly.
Completing the SBC Tasks
You’ll need to submit two squads to unlock Fernandez. The first segment requires an 82-rated squad with 75 chemistry, rewarding a Small Electrum Players Pack. The second needs an 84-rated team with one Team of the Week player, granting a Premium Gold Pack.
The total cost ranges from approximately 31,000 coins on PC to 41,000 on console. If you’ve got untradeable fodder sitting in your club, you can significantly reduce the effective cost. The pack rewards help offset expenses, occasionally yielding valuable pulls that sweeten the deal.
Is She Meta-Relevant?
With 90 defending and elite defensive PlayStyles, Fernandez competes admirably against higher-rated defenders. Her main limitations are a 3-star weak foot and 3-star skill moves—but for pure defensive work, she’s exceptional value.
Compared to premium Future Stars defenders costing millions, this ~35k investment delivers remarkable bang for your buck. She slots perfectly into hybrid squads needing Spanish or BWSL links while providing top-tier defensive performance that punches above her price point.
