Trailblazer (Elation) — Your Free Lightning Upgrade
The headline reveal for free-to-play players is the Elation Trailblazer — a new Lightning-element form of the main character that will unlock through Version 4.2’s Trailblaze Mission. Just like the Harmony Trailblazer was earned through story progression, this form is obtained for free by all players who complete the story content.
The Elation Path revolves around mechanics called Punchline and Aha’s Instant — a system built around stacking charges from ally actions to trigger powerful burst windows. Elation Trailblazer is expected to become a support unit or sub-DPS upon harnessing Aha’s power, potentially a potent character for new teams assisting Planarcadia characters in battle.
Their drip marketing artwork shows both Stella and Caelus wielding a glowing saber — hinting at unique interactive abilities within their kit.
Silver Wolf LV.999 — The Hacker Goes Imaginary
The internet exploded when this reveal landed. Originally a Nihility Quantum debuffer, Silver Wolf LV.999 swaps to Imaginary damage on the fresh Elation path — a DPS powerhouse, complete with a cyberpunk Infinity Gauntlet aesthetic and bold “LV999” branding.
She’s the third Honkai: Star Rail character to follow the Elation Path and is expected to synergise explosively with Sparxie, Yao Guang, and the Elation Trailblazer in the same team comp.
Evanescia — The Elation DPS Fans Have Been Waiting For
Evanescia is heavily implied to be a Yae Sakura expy, and leaks suggest she will be an Elation Path main DPS — potentially the core damage dealer for the entire Elation system. Her Phase 2 banner placement means you’ll have time to pull Silver Wolf LV.999 first and evaluate your Stellar Jade situation before committing.

Should You Save for Version 4.2?
If you’ve been building an Elation team since 4.0, Version 4.2 is the payoff patch. All three units synergise directly. The free Trailblazer form alone is reason to stay engaged — and Silver Wolf LV.999 arriving as Phase 1’s banner makes for an incredible opening week.
Stay tuned to TechnoSports for Elation team builds, relic recommendations, and countdown timers as April 22 approaches.
