First, Unlock Ships
You can’t chase Legendary vessels without a basic ship. Ships unlock after you upgrade the Howling Hill Camp, part of the “Gathered Will” questline. After that, the “A Wider World” questline opens up shipbuilding. gamerantgame8
Your first ship comes from a dispatch mission. Inspect the port on the map for the “Small Shipbuilding” dispatch. It costs 600 Stone, 600 Wood, 1,200 Food and 10,000 Silver, and you must send 5 Greymanes, one of whom needs Engineering. Legendary Ship 1: The Phantom Ship
This one is a boss-style fight rather than a shopping trip. The Phantom Ship encounter is tied to the Sea of Silence in the eastern ocean. Beating it rewards you with a treasure map that leads to the crafting materials. One guide also points to Bergel Island, south of Delesyia, as a location worth checking.
Why it’s worth the effort: it brings a flamethrower up front and spikes across the hull, which makes it brutal for ramming enemy ships.
