How Does Make Your Idol Actually Work?
Make Your Idol is a chained Evolution that can be completed in four steps, unlocked by reaching levels 1, 3, 7, and 21 in the Season Pass. IMDb
Here’s the complete evolution path:
Step 1 (Level 1): Players must collect 1,000 Season Points to unlock the Make Your Idol pack, which contains eligible players. Alternatively, you can use any Japanese or South Korean player rated 85 OVR or lower. The chosen card is entered into the chain and upgraded to 85 OVR. justjared
Step 2 (Level 3): You must select one of three upgrade branches — Attacker, Midfielder, or Defender — boosting the card to 87 OVR with 4-star Skill Moves and Weak Foot, plus position-specific PlayStyles. IMDb
Step 3 (Level 7): A second upgrade branch (+2 OVR to 89) with another PlayStyle+ of your choice from a curated list.
Step 4 (Level 21): The final stage arrives at Level 21, where the card reaches its maximum 91 overall rating with 5-star Weak Foot and Skill Moves. justjared
Who Are the Best Players to Use?
EA FC 26’s Evolution system rewards smart player selection. Popular choices like Min Jae Kim and Heung Min Son already have World Tour cards, so it might be a waste to use them for the chain. Rolling Out Better targets include Heung Min Son (Midfielder path), Yui Hasegawa (all-around midfielder), Hiroki Ito (versatile CB/LB), and speedsters like Junya Ito, Ritsu Doan, or Takefusa Kubo for the Attacker path.
One key bonus: all evolved cards receive Max Chemistry regardless of their league or club Rolling Out — giving you total formation flexibility.
