How to Participate — Step by Step
✅ Step 1: Check Your Eligibility
You must meet Fortnite’s standard tournament requirements — account in good standing, 2FA enabled, and account age verified. The Fortnite Lantern Fest Cup is open to all players who meet the minimum requirements.
🎮 Step 2: Find a Duo Partner
The cup runs in Reload Duos format. Lock in a reliable partner before the session starts — communication and elimination efficiency are everything in a 3-hour scoring window.
🏆 Step 3: Access via the Compete Tab
On March 3, open Fortnite → navigate to the Compete tab → find the Lantern Fest Cup. Exact regional start times will be displayed in-game.
🎯 Step 4: Grind Eliminations
Each elimination grants 2 points, and you need 60 points to rank first. Focus on aggressive, efficient play — consistent eliminations beat passive survival in this format.
🎁 Step 5: Claim Your Reward
- 8+ points → Victorious Aaliyah Spray (free for all who reach this threshold)
- Top leaderboard → Full Aaliyah Cosmetic Set unlocked early, before the March 8 Item Shop release
