Meet the Characters: Kafka & Blade
Fortnite confirmed that the collab will focus on Kafka and Blade, two of the most beloved characters from Honkai: Star Rail. Kafka brings her signature purple-hued katana, while Blade wields his iconic Shattered Blade.
Both characters will have Pickaxes associated with them, Back Blings will also be featured, and one of the two Outfits will have a Selectable Style. Windows Central No emotes are included in either bundle — but the cosmetic quality here is seriously premium.
How to Get Blade’s Skin for FREE
This is the real headline. Players who join the Honkai: Star Rail top-up event in the Epic Games Store will receive the Blade Outfit completely free — believed to require purchasing Oneiric Shards, the in-game currency of Honkai: Star Rail. UBOS
If you were already planning to top up in HSR, this is basically a no-brainer.
Pricing Breakdown
You can expect individual skins to cost around 1,500 to 2,000 V-Bucks, with Pickaxes around 800 V-Bucks and Back Blings around 500 V-Bucks. Tom’s Hardware Bundles will offer better value as a package deal, similar to past Gaming Legends crossovers like Magik and Luna Snow.
As with most Fortnite crossovers, there is no guaranteed return date once the Honkai Star Rail skins leave the Item Shop — so purchasing during the initial release window is the safest option. Slashdot Limited-time is not marketing speak here. It’s a real deadline.
