Which Minecraft Platforms Get It?
According to Mojang, the Preview is available on Xbox, PlayStation, Windows and iOS, and the beta is on Android (Google Play).

Step-by-Step Guide

Windows: Open the Minecraft Launcher, click the Minecraft Preview tab, then press Install or Play. You need a copy of Bedrock Edition.
Xbox: Search for Minecraft Preview in the store and install it. You need Bedrock or an active Game Pass subscription.
PlayStation: Open Minecraft, find the Preview option in the sidebar and choose the PlayStation Preview download.
iOS: Install TestFlight from the App Store, then join through the official Preview invite link when a slot is open. Tap Start Testing, sign in with your Microsoft account and press Play Preview.
Android: Open Minecraft’s Google Play page, scroll down, tap Join the Beta, then update the app. Note that the beta replaces your regular install.
Don’t Skip: Turn On the Experiment
The new winter content is experimental. When you create a world, enable Drop 4 of 2026 under Experiments to see Ice Caves, icicles, Ice Crystals and the Frostbite.

- Back up your worlds. Preview builds can be unstable.
- Expect limits. You may not be able to play with friends who aren’t on Preview, and Realms may be unavailable in Preview.
