What Is Fast Travel in Windrose?
Unlike most RPGs where you teleport freely from any map point, Windrose uses a point-to-point fast travel system. You physically build and place Fast Travel Points, then warp between them instantly. Think of them as personal portals anchored to the coastline.

Step-by-Step: How to Fast Travel in Windrose
Craft a Fast Travel Bell at the Workbench using 10x Copper Ingots and 3x Rope.
Gather 20x Lumber by chopping trees or looting wrecks.
Build a short pier extending into the water on your chosen island.
Open Building Menu → Crafting & Utilities → Utilities and select Fast Travel Point.
Snap the Fast Travel Bell to the end of your pier or in shallow water beside it.
Repeat on a second island — you need at least two points to activate fast travel.
Open your World Map, click any Fast Travel Point icon, and teleport instantly!
You can build up to 10 Fast Travel Points total. Just remember — they cannot be placed near Trading Posts.
Best Strategy for Fast Travel Placement
Always drop one Fast Travel Point at your home base and carry materials to build a second one right outside any dungeon or major Point of Interest (POI). This lets you warp home to drop loot and return within seconds — no sailing required.
