How Taming Works in Patch 1.06
If you want to tame a special mount like a Tiger, Lion, Wolf, or Bear, here’s the process: find the animal and attack it. After doing enough damage, it should collapse to the ground — stunned, not dead. Approach it and a “Ride” option should appear. Trigger that. GamesRadar+
Some animals will have unique taming methods, while those labelled ferocious will be tamable by subduing and then feeding them to gain their trust. Feeding animals that aren’t tamable won’t impact their trust level. TechRaptor

Raptor Location: North & East of Tashkalp
Raptors can be found mounted by hostile NPCs north and east of Tashkalp. Knock the rider off, damage the raptor enough to stagger it, then mount before it recovers. They’re one of the most aggressive special mounts to tame but worth the effort for their combat speed. TheGamer
Rock Tusk Warthog: Bordig Camp
If you want to unlock the Rock Tusk Warthog, make your way to the Bordig Camp in the Crimson Desert region — southeast of Tashkalp and northwest of Red River. The place is heavily guarded by boar-riding bandits, and your main target is Ravok of the Savage Fangs, which is part of the faction quest called Lords of the Unclaimed Lands — Savage Fang. GameSpot
Where to Buy Special Saddles
Saddles for special mounts can be found at different saddleries across the world, with 8 different saddlers each having access to one or two special saddles. Key locations include: TechRaptor
Pailune Saddlery (speak to Eldred) for Bear and Ibex Saddles; Eastern Hills south of Delesyia (speak to Randelle) for the Warthog Saddle; Tommaso’s eastern district Saddlery (speak to Alima) for the Giant Iguana Saddle; and Varnia’s southwest district Saddlery (speak to Zara) for the Embroidered Camel Saddle. According to Pearl Abyss on Wikipedia, the studio’s live-service expertise from Black Desert Online is clearly driving Crimson Desert’s rapid, player-focused post-launch updates — and the special mounts system is the clearest example yet.
