Step 1 — Build the Blundergat (4 Parts)
All four parts can be collected in any order across both timelines.
🔩 Sealant
Head to past Yellow House Upstairs — pick it up from the bookshelf in the bedroom. This is the easiest part.
🛢️ Barrel
In present Nuketown, find and shoot the Loot Cysts growing on walls throughout the map. Keep killing them until one drops the Barrel. RNG-based — keep farming.
🔨 Hammer
In present Yellow House Upstairs, collect the SO3 Vial from the desk. Carry it to the present Green House sink to convert it into an H2SO4 Vial. Use the acid to dissolve a specific mannequin in the present — the Hammer drops from it. If it doesn’t appear, use a Temporal Conduit to return to the future and check each melted mannequin.
🪵 Stock
Find a black growth on a wall in present Nuketown — locations include the yellow house garage, the green house staircase top, and Trinity Avenue. Destroy it with an explosive. Cross into the past and collect the Stock from the hole left behind.
Once you have all four parts, head to the truck workbench in the present Cul-de-Sac and assemble the Blundergat.
Step 2 — Upgrade to the Sundergat
The Sundergat adds three powerful fire modes: Sunder Purge (charged conical AoE), Sunder Exile (long-range focused beam), and enhanced primary fire that rips soul energy from zombies.
- Survive at least 2 rounds in present Nuketown
- Hunt a Tortured Zombie surrounded by a fire tornado — found in Green House Backyard, Yellow House Backyard, or Trinity Avenue
- Lead it to the Cul-de-Sac bench and kill it there with the Blundergat — keep other zombies away to prevent premature death
- Repeat two more times (on the third attempt, a Shock Mimic spawns instead)
- Travel to past Nuketown and melee the bench in the Cul-de-Sac — place the Blundergat on it
- Return to the present and melee the workbench — collect the Sundergat
