Who Is Tom Lizard?
Tom Lizard is the star of Pixar’s 2026 animated film Hoppers — a curious little green lizard with sea green scales and wandering black wall eyes who befriends animal lover Mabel Tanaka. His viral moment came when a post-credits teaser showed him endlessly spamming the 🦎 emoji on a phone, which exploded on Instagram and TikTok and turned him into an internet sensation overnight. IMDb
The viral clip perfectly explains the Text-to-Speech Pickaxe and the Lizard emote — both references to the film’s most iconic meme where a robotic voice just repeatedly says “Lizard.” If you know, you know.
How to Get Tom Lizard in Fortnite
Head to the Fortnite Item Shop and look for the Hoppers collection in the featured crossover section. The Tom Lizard skin costs 1,500 V-Bucks and automatically includes the Mabel Plush Back Bling along with both the standard and LEGO Fortnite style versions.
Many fans expected Tom Lizard to arrive as a small Sidekick companion who’d follow you around in matches — but Epic surprised everyone by making him a full-sized playable skin. The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with players calling it “peak” and declaring it one of the wildest crossovers Fortnite has ever pulled off. Bollywood Hungama
The bundle is genuinely great value. For 2,000 V-Bucks you get five cosmetics including the Lizard emote — one of the most shareable, meme-worthy emotes the Item Shop has seen in years.
