Want a fully loaded weapon in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ without grinding attachments or burning DMZ Cash? Blueprints are your shortcut, and the catch is small. Here’s how to claim them.
What Are DMZ Blueprints?
Blueprints come with built-in attachments that would otherwise need weapon levelling or specific unlock requirements. That means a strong gun from your very first deployments.
How to Claim Yours, Step by Step
- Reach DMZ Level 10. The Gunsmith unlocks at DMZ level 10. gamerant
- Open the Gunsmith and choose Buy New Weapon. Look for guns showing the blueprint icon instead of the build icon. gamerfuzion
- Pick your blueprint under the Builds option and craft it.
- Send it to your stash and load into a match.

Where Do Blueprints Come From?
You can get them from Store bundles, Battle Pass tiers or special-event challenges. The Vault Edition gives the biggest head start, and without it you’ll have fewer blueprints to choose from, especially early on.

My Advice
Treat every free craft as a one-use loan. Extract with the gun, or bring a backup plan, because if you lose the blueprint during a deployment, that instance is lost permanently. Also, one outlet notes the “legendary” label isn’t shown in the menus, so don’t expect a rarity tag on the card.
No blueprints? Weapon Manuals are the other route. They drop randomly in the A.O. and unlock that gun for purchase at the Gunsmith when you extract. gamerant
